White Goodness began with a simple belief: your skincare should work with your skin, not against it. We create small-batch formulas using ethically sourced rooibos, marula oil, and aloe ferox — ingredients grown in the South African landscape and chosen for their proven ability to calm, nourish, and restore.
Our products are developed for sensitive and combination skin types, free from harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances. Every jar and bottle is recyclable, every formula cruelty-free, and every ritual designed to enhance your natural texture and glow.
We understand reactive skin. That's why every formula is pH-balanced, fragrance-free, and tested on sensitive complexions before it reaches your shelf.
Balancing hydration without heaviness is an art. Marula oil delivers lightweight moisture, while rooibos helps regulate sebum production for a more even complexion.
Skincare shouldn't be complicated. Our range is built around a simple three-step routine — cleanse, moisturise, restore — that fits naturally into your mornings and evenings.
Our Story
White Goodness began with a simple frustration: finding a cleanser that didn't strip, a moisturiser that didn't clog, and a serum that actually calmed reactive skin. So we started blending our own — small batches, South African botanicals, nothing else.
2019 — The First Batch
Our founder brewed rooibos in her Cape Town kitchen and mixed it with marula oil and a gentle castile base. Fifty bottles sold at a local market — all gone by noon. The feedback was consistent: skin felt calm, not tight.
2021 — The Aloe Ferox Decision
We replaced imported aloe vera with aloe ferox sourced from Western Cape farmers. Higher polysaccharide content meant better soothing results, and the shorter supply chain cut our packaging emissions by a third.
2023 — Fully Recyclable Range
Every jar, bottle, and cap in the current line is now recyclable or refillable. We also moved to waterless shipping for our serums, reducing freight weight by 40% without compromising freshness.
Every quarter we review three numbers: how many bottles came back for refill, how many customers repurchased within 60 days, and how many ingredients were sourced within 300 kilometres of our studio. These tell us more about our impact than revenue alone.

Synthetic fragrances
Straightforward answers about ingredients, routines, and how our small-batch products are made.
Yes. Every formula is developed with sensitive and combination skin in mind. We avoid synthetic fragrances, harsh sulfates, and drying alcohols. Instead, we rely on soothing botanicals like rooibos extract and aloe ferox to calm redness and support the skin barrier.
Marula oil is naturally lightweight and rich in oleic acid, so it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy film. It helps reinforce the skin's lipid barrier, making it a great choice for combination skin that needs hydration without heaviness.
We work directly with ethical suppliers in South Africa. Rooibos is harvested in the Cederberg region, marula oil is cold-pressed from wild-harvested kernels, and aloe ferox is sustainably collected from the Western Cape. This supports local communities and ensures the freshest, most potent ingredients.
All our formulations are cruelty-free and never tested on animals. The majority of our range is vegan, and we clearly label each product so you know exactly what you're using. We also use recyclable packaging to reduce waste.
A 50ml moisturizer or serum usually lasts about 6–8 weeks with twice-daily use. Cleansers tend to last a bit longer. Because we make everything in small batches, each jar is fresh and potent when it reaches you.
Begin with a gentle cleanser in the morning and evening, followed by a lightweight moisturizer. If your skin feels tight or stressed, add a restorative serum after cleansing. Consistency matters more than complexity, so start simple and build from there.
